I am a birth and postpartum doula and the owner of HMC. I empower parents with advocacy, art therapy, and support, rooted in compassion and education.
Ellen Ellerbee, ROSE Peer Counselor
Originally from the UK, I have called the Boston area home for over a decade. Currently I work as a birth and postpartum Doula for Boston Doula Circle. Prior to this I worked independently as a Masshealth Doula. I also work as an Early Learning Specialist for the ParentChild+ program in Medford. I have attended continuing education workshops on pregnancy and infant loss, lactation and pregnancy massage.
Salima Taylor, ROSE Peer Counselor
Salima is the mother of two little boys with different lactation experiences. She is a PhD candidate focusing on food culture and nutrition policy at the Friedman School. She is passionate about infant feeding practices.

Stephanie was born in Charleston SC, and has always had an admiration for birth workers. Her parents along with aunts and uncles from both sides of her family were delivered by midwives.

Alicia is a dedicated Chestfeeding Peer Specialist in training, passionate about supporting birthing people on their lactation journey. With a strong commitment to evidence based guidance and compassionate care, she is learning to provide encouragement, education, and resources to families. Alicia aims to create a welcoming and informed space where birthing people feel empowered in their chestfeeding choices.
